One of the main reasons in this decision is the current value of the pound against the Euro due to the situation with the Brexit negotiations. To facilitate our tours, we need to buy our Euros far in advance, we try to do this at the best possible rate, however, at the current extremely low rates it would cost us a lot more to buy the same amount of Euros, and the figure is too substantial to be reclaimed by raising the cost of the tours for our clients. In 2018 ITC absorbed a lot of the extra cost of the foreign currency so that we could keep the cost of the tours as low as possible, but we do not see that as a possibility for 2019 as the cost is significantly more. So, we have decided to take a break and are going to use 2019 as a research year. We will be looking for ways to offer cost effective but exciting and stimulating tours that will offer something new for our clients, and hopefully, once Brexit has completed the pound will regain its strength and we will be able to relaunch in 2020 with the promise of new places for everyone to experience and enjoy.
