We use water everyday without thinking about it, on average each person uses around 150 litres per day and most of it is wasted. Nearly 30% of water is used for toilet flushing, Building Regulation Part G states that only 125 litres per person will be allowed for new build properties and that water saving devices must be used to acheive this. The installation of rainwater harvesters will ensure that the requirements of Building Regulation Part G can be met by the use of rainwater to flush toilets, irrigate gardens or supply an outside tap.
