Sharon trained at the College of Traditional Acupuncture, Warwick on a three year degree and licentiate programme, graduating in 2009. She stumbled upon acupuncture by chance whilst visiting China, this holiday was to change the direction of her life. She left the career she had known for over 20 years as she felt the benefits of her own treatments. In turn she likes to offer her patients the same standards of care, not just in private practice but as an affordable option for everyone. Sharon is fully trained in Five Element, Facial Cosmetic, Auricular and Korean Hand Acupuncture. Continuing professional development has lead to additional studies in gynaecological issues affecting fertility, assisted conception and acupuncture in pregnancy. She especially enjoys meeting patients with mental health issues, insomnia, infertility and providing support through pregnancy. However, the joy is working with any patient to help improve their symptoms or general well being. After the success of the Leamington Community Clinic based in the Acupuncture Academy she wanted to branch out to another corner of Warwickshire and therefore Rugby seemed the perfect choice. Sharon is on the third year teaching team at the Acupuncture Academy.
