Those early days were difficult, as Michael explains. "The hardest part for me was planning class times, it seemed as if the times of my classes were never right for people and clients were forever saying ' I wish you ran classes at this time or that time' . People's lives are busy enough as it is without trying to fit a yoga class in as well. If someone can only attend a class first thing in the morning, why shouldn't they be able to? And so the seed was sown for the creation of a studio that could offer classes to suit everyone". One of Michael's other passions is his dogs and it was whilst he was out walking his 4 Jack Russell's that the name came to him. "I'd had Thea, Thor, Elf and Zina out for their daily walk and as I was passing a particular house all 4 dogs seemed to take an interest in the driveway. As I brought the pack to order I noticed the name if the house. Tall Trees and immediately thought what a fantastic name for a yoga studio. Three days later someone advised me that there were some properties being let in the grounds of an old ex hospital. I went to view the property and found St Catherine's House nestled away in these beautiful grounds surrounded by tall trees, well call it fate but I was smitten with the place.".
