The Swan Nursery School was established in 1990 and we moved to our current semi-rural location in Roydon in 2006. The current school building was specially designed as a Nursery with easy access to the outdoor play areas. Set in a fantastic woodland setting the interior is divided into various areas; a 'wet' room for water, sand-pit, painting and other messy things, a general play room for construction toys, home corner and imaginative play, a quiet area for reading and learning and finally another area for group activities. Outside the Swan can offer a large patio for bikes, tractors and prams, a forest school area in the Woods, a 'mini' playground with climbing frame, playhouse and football pitch and a new outdoor classroom. These are all safely enclosed in the beautiful surroundings of a one-acre garden.
