Allan started his career in manual therapies and soft tissue massage in 2002 when, having left the Army, he completed the Premier diploma in sports massage therapy and personal training. Subsequently Allan then went on to study in ultrasound, taping and strapping, gait analysis and myofascial release techniques. He ran a successful sports injury clinic at Southampton Solent University helping a range of people from varying sports with their injuries. Allan then went on to work for Premier training as a lecturer in sports massage therapy. This he did for 3 years before leaving to set up working with David Robinson. In June 2012 Allan completed a 5 year degree programme in Osteopathy and a further course in dry needling. With these skills and his previous nine years experience of manual therapies Allan offers a range of Osteopathic, sports massage and exercise based approaches to help his patients with the management of their musculo-skeletal complaints.
