Susan Howarth formed her legal practice following a career within the probation and social services, utilising the wide first hand experience she had gained there. After qualifying in law she was determined to provide a specialist practice able to give practical help and provide the sensitivity needed in a wide range of family law issues and in 1997 Susan Howarth & Company Solicitors was born. The firm was further strengthened when Jane Williamson joined the practice as a partner in January 2000, adding her experience gained in the fields of family law and child protection. Today Susan Howarth & Company Solicitors provides a range of specialist services covering every aspect of family law, personal injury, conveyancing and services for the elderly. They include divorce and separation, care and adoption, mediation, conveyancing (commercial and domestic) and wills and probate, drawing on a team of specialists with a depth of experience.
