Darren Mugleston moved to the South West in 2003, after progressing from a graduate building surveyor to partner with a large practice in the Midlands. John Collinson has practised in the South West since qualifying as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1989. His substantial experience includes surveys of residential and commercial properties; undertaking dilapidation, pre-acquisition, alteration and repair advice for a national chain (over 550 branches from Glasgow to Saltash) as well as managing the design and contract administration of refurbishment of residential and commercial properties, up to £3m in value. He regularly undertakes reports on building defects and acts as an expert witness.
