I live by the beach in Kent with my wife Lyndsey, another wedding photographer, and Ozzy, the French bulldog. The former loves ankle boots and Art Deco, the latter loves cheese and chasing rabbits. And me? I can usually be found cycling, drinking coffee, or shooting some street photography. And eating cake. There’s always got to be cake. Photography was not my career of choice, having been convinced at an early age that my true calling was on the stage, guitar in hand. As my Wembley dreams faded, and my love of cake and chips put paid to a career as a pro cyclist, I realised that my love of photography, people, and human interaction could provide the answer to my career conundrum; I shot my first wedding for friends on the sunny island of Malta back in 2007, on a F100 Nikon film camera. I got immense satisfaction from it, the couple loved the photos, and thus, Stephen Bunn Photography was born.
