My name is Liz and I have been a reflexologist since 2010, having previously spent more than ten years working as a teacher in large comprehensive schools. Prior to that I taught English as a Foreign Language in Poland and Germany. My own experience of complementary therapies began in 1993 when I worked as a volunteer in Germany at a Camphill residential school. Here I saw the positive effects of various complementary therapies on children with complex special needs. Many years later in 2007 I had reflexology shortly before the birth of my daughter and I was surprised by the calming, relaxing and empowering influence it had on me. I resolved to find out more about reflexology one day. That opportunity came in 2010 when I stopped work in order to be at home with my young children. I trained as a reflexologist and also obtained the ITEC Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Holistic Massage. In 2014 I qualified as a Certified Infant Massage Instructor with IAIM (International Association of Infant Massage) and since then I have run baby massage classes in the local area. I love seeing parents relaxing, interacting with their babies and growing more confident each session.
