Our daily lives are often busy and, stressful, and generally cause misalignment in our bodies. We play sports that often dominate one side of our body over the other. Our jobs are often repetitive and they too can cause certain muscles to be over or under worked. Yoga gives your body a full body workout. It encourages you to put parts of your body in to positions and through ranges of movement that in everyday life are unused. It encourages muscles to be woken upâ€. Despite initial appearances, Yoga makes your muscles work hard, allowing them to become stronger and more flexible. Increasing and maintaining flexibility is often the key to reducing injuries and keeping the body working in an efficient way. The aches, pains and muscle strains we all feel in our daily lives are often due to inactive muscles and tightness through not using the muscles we have. This can be avoided.
