Mary Haworth Beauty Culture was established in Ashton-u-Lyne in 1955. Mary, who had been recently widowed, embarked upon a training course as a mature student at the Delia Collins School of Beauty Culture, in London. In those days it was only Ladies of Society who would indulge in Beauty Treatments, but with tremendous determination and foresight, Mary was able to offer such treatments to ladies from all walks of life. She opened her salon in Warrington Street, offering a range of beauty treatments and her own label skin care. The salon grew from strength to strength, remaining the family business that it is today. Mary Haworth died in 1997. We, Suzanne and Verity, her only two granddaughters continue to develop the business based on our many years of experience in all aspects of Beauty Therapy, always striving to maintain the reputation and standards in which our grandmother believed. Mary Haworth Beauty Culture invite you to relax and indulge in a warm and friendly atmosphere, whilst enjoying the very best treatments Health & Beauty have to offer, created by professional and dedicated Beauty Therapists.
