Over time new models were added, running the gamut from classic styled lugged road bikes (the Osprey), to hard hitting steel hardtails (the Buzzard) via racey Titanium, cyclocross bikes, fat bikes and 29+. Singular has also been at the very forefront of development of the niches now known as ‘monstercross’ or ‘gravel’ bikes – fundamentally go anywhere, do anything bikes with 700c wheels and drop handlebars. This relentless drive for innovation and development led down some interesting and fruitful paths, others less so. Increased competition thanks to many of the bike styles developed by Singular hitting the main stream and the practical aspects of managing the business meant what has always been a one-man-band had to change. Singular is now under new ownership though continues to have Sam’s creative input. We seek to maintain and extend the legacy of the Singular brand by continuing to develop new and innovative bicycles.
