Working with natural materials and contemporary planting, Simon takes inspiration from the formality of traditional garden design and his love of form and architectural plants. This marriage of formality and instant low maintenance planting characterises Simon's work, and he and his build team can translate this into anything from a contemporary ‘outdoor room’, a traditionally built formal garden, to a practical family living/work space. We have divided the portfolio section of this site into four categories and hope you too will be inspired. Anything is possible, and Simon will be glad to help you make the most of your garden. Simon began his career with some of the top landscape designers in the industry and very quickly noticed a gap in the market for gardens designed, project managed and actually built by the designer. Hands on throughout each Client´s project, it is not unusual to see Simon working in the rain with his predominantly southern hemisphere work force.
