It’s these principles that our customers greatly value. Our clients range from property management companies, to housing associations, private estates in the Sussex and Kent region. Before setting up the business in 2001 he spent 10 years training and working within the horticulture industry. He spent three years studying at Brinsbury College in West Sussex for a National Diploma in Landscape Studies. After completing the course he was offered a job on Herm Island in the Channel Islands as a gardener maintaining the gardens and grounds, which include many unusual sub-tropical plants. James’ next gardening position was at Polesden Lacy, a National Trust property in Surrey, maintaining the historic formal gardens. After a couple of years it was time for a new challenge, he moved to London where he worked for the famous garden designer Stephen Woodhams and was responsible for maintaining a portfolio of contemporary gardens in London for some very famous clientele.
