We are an independent Scottish family firm based in East Ayrshire, established in the early 1960s by Robert Duncan, then joining forces with John Duncan Junior in the mid-seventies. On Robert’s retirement in 2000, John and Margaret took the reins and are now joined by the third generation: Andrew, Maureen and Alastair. At RS Duncan Plant Hire we have a vast experience in hiring excavators with attachments to all types of customers ranging from main contractors in the construction industry to agriculture and landscaping industries as well as the DIY market. We have a range of excavators ranging from 2 Ton to 22 Ton including mini, midi zero tail swing, and crawler excavators, backhoe loaders, dump trucks, tractors and skip loaders.
