Where did it all start? Roger has a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Botany and Zoology, and has always been interested in nature and the environment. Although British through and through, his ancestors hailed from Germany, and it was not until recently an inherited family history was translated that he realised healing was in his blood - a long line of medical doctors and homoeopaths preceded him! Roger trained in Holistic & Clinical Medicine in 1986-88 and has since qualified in Colonic Hydrotherapy, Bowen technique, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Reflexology and Metabolic Typing. He has over 25 years experience working in clinics in Woolacombe, Devon, and in the past in Truro and Minehead, Somerset and has worked at the North Devon Hospice, Barnstaple, as their nutritional adviser. Roger is also an activist, and has been a trustee of the Natural Medicines Society, Chairman of ARCH - the Association of Registered Colon Hydrotherapists a number of times and is now their Honorary President. He is also a director of the General Naturopathic Council where he has been involved with the independent regulation of Naturopathy and has recently been appointed onto the profession-specific board of the CNHC Naturopathy register, and is CNHC registered.
