The Gorge is famous for its 18th century iron works and is ideally situated for walking the many footpaths in the area. The Gorge is also a place of natural beauty with tremendous views everywhere. The hotel is in close proximity to: Llangorse Lake, Brecon Beacons Visitor Centre, Dan yr Ogof Showcaves, Big Pit Mining Museum and Brecon Mountain Railway. The market town of Abergavenny is 5 miles away with interesting shops and museum. Golf, fishing, pony trekking and canal boating can be arranged.
