Treatment consists of various manipulative techniques, primarily carried out by hand, that are designed to improve the function of the joints and surrounding tissues thereby relieving pain and muscle spasm. The bodys own healing processes then contribute to improve health. I graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan in 2001 after completing a 4 year honours degree in Chiropractic. I have always had a keen interest in chiropractic healthcare after recieving treatment throughout my childhood for various sporting injuries. Since graduating I have worked primarily at Thirsk Chiropractic Clinic, where I still work 2.5 days a week, and as a locum in York. Throughout this time I have gained valuable experience and still enjoy everything about the job, which is why I feel the time is right for me to set up the clinic in Ripon. I have a keen interest in health and general well being, especially in relation to the lifestyles we live today and the impacts on our bodies. I feel that I, as a chiropractor can help people take responsibility for their own healthcare and guide them to greater wellbeing.
