Rhys Davies Logistics was founded in 1952. In the last 15 years, the Company has grown from a single base in South Wales into a national company with nine depots throughout the UK. It offers a comprehensive nationwide pallet distribution service, as well as specialising in "Total Logistics Solutions" to customers with more demanding warehousing and distribution requirements. It has an annual turnover in excess of £37m, and over 400 staff. The fleet, in excess of 170 vehicles, ranges from vans and rigids through to a substantial fleet of articulated vehicles, with some 150 curtain-sided and double deck trailers. The Company’s premises in Cardiff provides warehousing in excess of 80,000 square feet and, together with operating centres in Andover, Barnsley, Birmingham, Haydock, London, Newton Aycliffe, Rainham and Scotland, forms a national network of warehousing in excess of 560,000 square feet.
