The Great Tithe Barn, situated at Haselbury Mill near Crewkerne, is believed to be the first medieval-style tithe barn to be built in the past 300 years and was a contract of over £1 million. The building was chosen out of 65 exemplary entries from across the region to receive the chairman's award for its "excellent quality, unusual design and for being a structure that is unlikely to be unmatched for decades to come".
