Founder Jock Armstrong (pictured) started the Armstrong family business in 1965, as an agricultural contractor serving the Kirkcudbrightshire farming community. From an agricultural contractor we have now acted as Principal Contractor for major local developments such as Costa Coffee at Cuckoo Bridge, Scot JCB at Heathhall and regeneration of Queen Street and surrounding streets. Over the years we have embraced new initiatives including zero waste, biomass technology and woodchip operations. Continued investment in modern equipment has allowed us to meet customer demands, as we seek to deliver best value solutions throughout the Group.
