Platt & Hill Limited, an independent company, specialising in the manufacture of products primarily for the furniture trade, commissioned us to select a replacement for their existing ERP system. Ferranti Technologies Limited, a world-class supplier of electronic, electrical and electro-mechanical equipment, commissioned us to undertake an IT Strategy Study, followed by a Systems Selection. Quercetum Limited is a professional management consultancy primarily serving clients throughout the United Kingdom, but regularly undertaking projects for clients considerably further afield – the furthest has been in Siberia. Our consultants have a wide and diverse range of experience – some have achieved senior positions in major consultancy practices and others in industry. As a consequence, we are happy to consider unusual assignments, as we may have the required, unusual, mix of skills, which the situation demands. We are pleased that many of our clients have returned, at intervals, as they face fresh challenges, and also that they recommend us to other potential clients. Our approach is that, whilst we will consider any assignment, we will not undertake any work until we have satisfied ourselves that we understand what is required, that we have the appropriate skills available, within the time frame required by the client, and we have agreed the precise details of the assignment, in writing, with the client. This 18th Century stately home is now run by a Trust. We were commissioned to produce an IT Strategy to enable evolution from a series of separate systems to an integrated suite of systems.
