Typically, acoustic guitars only have one strap button to attach the guitar strap to. This is normally at the base of the body of the guitar. In order to attach the strap to the headstock of the guitar, sometimes the strap suppliers add something that looks like a bootstrap that you then tie around the headstock and then tie to the strap through the strap buttonhole. The HeadStrap has been designed to replace the bootlace and bring an end to having to tie the strap to the guitar. It is easy to fit and remove, and being made of soft material and a plastic button, it won't harm the finish of the guitar.
