Carpentry began as a hobby many years ago whilst climbing the ladder on the professional golfing circuit. I have always had a keen interest in buildings and architecture, which developed as I toured the UK and Europe. After quailfying as a PGA Golf Profesional family life beckoned and, married to Jane, I settled in the UK turning my hobby into a passion for woodworking. I concentrated on acquiring all the latest tooling and machinery and gaining the qualifications necessary for a successful business. Prodesign has now been running successfully for nine years, employing several apprentices along the way who have then gone on to utilise their skills in their chosen professions.
