This building was used to build the first railway engine to be used on what is now the main London to Birmingham railway. The Barn was named the Harvey Coombe Barn after this steam engine. Jacky Rhodes has lived on the farm since childhood in 1960. From about 1967 Jacky started a riding school at the farm and to this day many of her pupils still return to the farm.
