Along with Peterborough Trim Repairs Bodyshop Services, we also run the Alloy Wheel Centre as an additional service to our customers. Our car body repairs and car bodywork shop were established in April 2001 by Chris Clark (A.M.I.M.I.) Chris was later joined by his son, Steve Clark in 2003. Chris started in the Body Repair business in 1971 at Harrington Motors (Bourne) and used to paint the Formula 1 cars for the BRM Team between races. The F1 painting shown here on the left shows one of the cars that he painted, which driven by Jean-Pierre Beltoise subsequently went on to win the 1972 Monaco Grand Prix. Jacky Ickx in a Ferrari was second, Emerson Fittipaldi in a Lotus was 3rd and Jackie Stewart in a Tyrrell finished in 4th place. Since then, Chris has repaired everything from Motor Cycles to Large Trucks and American Muscle cars (click on the photo to see the article). From when Steve joined in 2003, he too has become a very proficient repairer and an invaluable asset to the business.
