Since being established in 1964, Pavilion Car Rental has become the leading Car, Van and Minibus rental company in the Worthing area. Lionel Broughton started the business with his first car, a Ford Anglia, and increased the fleet to include Ford Zephyer’s and Zodiacs and at one time rented Bedford Dormobiles ( Motor-homes ) for the summer season holidays. His son, Stewart Broughton, joined him in 1977; working together they increased the size of the family business but not to the detriment of quality service. Since then Stewart, now with his own son, Philip, joined the United Rental Group, part of the parent company Kenning Car and Van Rental, now owned by Sixt Rent A Car. This has enabled the business to compete with the major players in the rental industry. As well as having contracts with local companies, supporting their transport requirements, being part of a National and Multinational organization has enabled us to grow and push our boundaries, now supplying customers as far afield as Crawley, Chichester and Newhaven.
