Open Door Family Centre is a registered charity managed by an enthusiastic, hard working team of professional staff supervised by a voluntary Management Committee. Both staff and Committee members are well qualified and experienced in the field of childcare and family support. Our Chairperson has 15 years experience of working (and volunteering) with voluntary and statutory agencies. She is a qualified social worker and more recently became a foster carer with a broad range of experiences working with families ranging from child protection, youth offending, child sexual exploitation, running life coaching self esteem programes for parents and now managing prevention services within Powys. Our chairperson became a trustee in 2011 soon after moving to Powys.
