My core work is One To One consultations, however here are some collaborative projects that Nutrition For Change has been involved with over the years — if these wet your appetite, check out my full list of services here: Nutrition for Change works with Synergy Creative Community through ‘The Food Project’ which I designed and facilitate. Synergy are an arts based community group which supports people with mental health challenges. I work with volunteers in the kitchen to create healthy lunches for the community to share together. I also run nutrition workshops for community members exploring the links between food and mental health. I led a project to create a Synergy recipe book called Feast Your Eyes, Nourish Your Mindâ€, which is currently on sale in Foodshed at Brighton Open Market. I collaborated with A Healthy Day and HiSbe leading a pilot project delivering a weekly food box with recipes to Synergy members. This increased people’s access to healthy seasonal foods and made trying new recipes more fun.
