A graphic designer and corporate design manager in London, Nicky moved to Cornwall in 2001. After chancing on an evening class in sugar flowers she found she had a flair and newly discovered passion for making these small, edible and beautiful creations and immediately caught the ‘bug’. Wanting to pursue a new, more hands-on career combining all things art and edible Nicky trained in patisserie and established her wedding cake business in 2003. As the business grew, Nicky gradually started to discover the flavours and versatility of chocolate, developing skills by both training with renowned chocolatiers and learning her own lessons along the way!
