The human body is amazing enabling us to do carry out so many functions and actions on a physical mental and emotional level. However, our modern life causes us to use our bodies in ways that nature did not intend, where we are becoming sedentary, sitting and slouching for hours in front of a computer, TV, mobiles and other gadgets, combined with poor posture, we put increased pressure on our tissues and distort areas of the spine resulting in discomfort, pain. Other forms of pain can come from physical pain, such as injuries, wear and tear of aging etc. As our lifestyles are constantly changing, we are also seeing pain in other forms on a psychological and emotional level such as; trauma, addictions, depression, challenging relationships, a broken heart, various forms of anxieties, to bullying, victimisation and abuse. If left without being addressed, these can carry an even heavier price in old age.
