The Nairn Golf Club is a private members golf club founded in 1887 and made up of 1300 members. Visitors receive a warm welcome and are encouraged to come and enjoy The Nairn Experienceâ€. Once you’ve tackled the challenging links it will leave you wanting to come back again and again. The club consists of an 18 Hole Championship Course, the 9 Hole Cameron Course, Clubhouse and Practice Facilities. The Nairn Golf Club had no humble origin. Masterminded in 1887 by the Edinburgh born advocate, Robert Finlay, like him the golf course was to grow immensely in stature. As for Finlay, the local MP, he rose to become a Viscount after presiding for three years as Britain’s Lord Chancellor, and remained ever faithful to Nairn.
