Growing up in Essex back in the 1980’s, I gained my apprenticeship at a well known local plumbing and heating company. After a few years I decided to venture out and start up my own business, I spent the next 25 years building up my client base and developing my business, working with my clients on lots of different projects including small building works and refurbishments. This in turn helped me gain a wealth of construction knowledge, which I used throughout the build of my own house in 2013. I then decided that I would like to pass on my knowledge to future generations. I joined a local technical college and started teaching advanced plumbing/ heating and gas, and working on the tools at the weekends. In the last three years I have gained level 3/4 qualifications in assessing, an IQA and a level 5 teaching qualification.
