Zale Fayre was my debut stall, followed shortly by Dartmoor Folk Festival. They both went very well and I continued with South Tawton Market and very local markets. I am now in my 8th year and travel all over Devon to different locations and can be found at Chagstock every year. My love of semi precious stones came from my mum, Marion, who loved semi precious stones. When I lived in Scotland we used to go for walks in the Ochils where we would find crystal geodes, amethyst and garnet. As a teenager, I went to school in Edinburgh and after school I would go down to a shop in the grassmarket that sold jewellery findings. I spent many a good hour designing earrings for myself mainly but didn't take it any further. Ten years ago, I decided to start putting semi precious stones in jewellery, which would combine two of my favourite things! I am self taught and am always learning new techniques and designs.
