Sharon Jane Moor started her beauty therapy career in Australia. On her return to England she completed her advanced training at the renowned training college of “Champneys” in 1994 where she excelled, qualifying in all the beauty training courses that were available to her. In 1999 she decided to open her own salon ‘Moors Health and Beauty’ in Clacton on Sea. Using top quality beauty products available, her salon very soon acquired an excellent reputation of quality together with a high standard of service. She made it so successful she went on to open a further salon in Colchester in 2001. Sharon was awarded salon of the year by Decleor, and the Moors salons are still to this date Decleor awarded salons. She set such a high standard from the way the towels and tissues were folded, the cleanliness of her salons, her ‘Moors Girls’ immaculate appearance and all the salon treatments being perfected by her intensive training. Sharon has passed her knowledge of training on to two of her staff who are still following the intensive training program she set up for her girls. She was a perfectionist with everything and Moors Salons were, and still are, a tremendous credit to her after 14 years of trading. She accomplished all this whilst battling life threatening health issues and raising her son on her own. She was and always will be an inspiration to us all. We are honoured to have had her training, her guidance and help and we at Moors would like to carry on providing this wonderful service to our clients in tribute to her.
