Michael has over 30 years of experience of surveying property in the Yorkshire area. He has worked for a number of highly respected companies including DTZ Debenham Thorpe, Black Horse Surveying Services Limited and Dacre, Son & Hartley of North and West Yorkshire. Michael is a registered valuer and has a considerable wealth of knowledge about all aspects of residential property. Michael is regularly called upon by local Solicitors to provide his expertise. Janie was head of the Psychology Department in a large secondary school before moving to work within the Built Environment. She has worked alongside Michael carrying out all aspects of residential surveying since 2011. Janie completed a Masters Degree in Building Surveying in 2014 which covered all aspects of the Built Enviroment including Property and Landlord and Tenant Law, Fire and Safety, Refurbishment, Contract Formation, Biodiversity, Planning, Development, Building Regulations, Energy Issues, Structural Mechanics and Commercial surveying. Her dissertation was written on Biodiversity and Bat Surveys.
