My interest in therapy was sparked by a football injury I received at an early age. After 18 months of various attempts to get to the root of my problem I was eventually put on the track to recovery by a local ‘Therapist’ who had acquired skills from his father who in turn had acquired knowledge and treatment skills from his travels in the Far East. I have trained with the Northern Institute of Massage, Sports Rehab and Education Services and have completed many other CPD courses learning a variety of treatment protocols such as Maitland and Mulligan mobiliations, Dry needling and Japanese Massage. I am a member of several organisations including; NAMMT - the National Association of Massage and Manipulative Therapists and the highly respected Society of Sports Therapists.
