Melbourne is perfectly situated in Bowness, just a short walk from the largest lake in England, Lake Windermere, and well positioned for discovering all of the beautiful Lake District. A few minutes walk from the World of Beatrix Potter and Hilltop (Beatrix Potter's house) is also very nearby. With a superb choice of restaurants, shops, and traditional pubs, we make an ideal place to explore the Lake District.
