Our other interests include the refurbishment of Dragonfly helicopters and have worked on multiple rebuild projects in the past, A Whirlwind XP345 now on loan to Aero Venture in Doncaster and a Dragonfly that is now at Elvington Air Museum, which they now own. Melbourne Autos is situated on an ex prisoner of war camp. During the Second World War Italian and German prisoners were held here. Towards the end of the war it served as a rehabilitation centre for American and British troops. During the war integration into the local community began with Italian and German soldiers working on near by farms and land, while the site held around 1000 prisoners.
