Working with gastroenterologists, GPs, colorectal surgeons, gynaecologists, endocrinologists, and immunologists, referrals usually relate to unexplained upper and lower gut symptoms and irritable bowel syndrome. Diverticular disease, coeliac disease, a low FODMAP diet, gluten intolerance, and histamine intolerance are also frequent issues under this care. Nationally recognised as an expert in the management of irritable bowel syndrome, and also in FODMAPs, dietary fibre, and probiotics, clinical judgement and advice are evidence-based. Knowledge of exercise and sport nutrition can also be applied where necessary, and many elite athletes have been helped. More commonly, though, those interested in losing weight or overcoming fatigue can improve in both concerns, and gut-related issues through the same intervention. Individuals can self-refer. Clinics are held in Oxford, Cheltenham, and Chipping Campden. The option for FaceTime or Skype consultations may also be organised.
