2016 was the year that SDM Cars turned the big five-oh, and we have come a long way since the company was founded by Ronnie Aitken in 1966. Trading began as Square Deal Motors from small sites in Meeks Road and Bryson Street Falkirk, and gradually a reputation for quality and customer service was earned. This trustworthy reputation has been what customers have grown to love about SDM throughout the years. The Ladysmill site was built from scratch and opened in 1966, firstly with the Toyota franchise. In the 1970's Ronnie was joined in the trade by his two sons Brian and David, and in recent years by Brian's three daughters Helen, Jennie and Lisa. SDM group now has a state of the art Toyota facility at Ladysmill, Falkirk, and nowadays SDM is the longest serving Toyota dealer in the UK. Not too far away, next to Forth Valley College, we have a huge mixed development site at Middlefield Road, Falkirk, which features Hyundai and Mazda. All of our Falkirk sites sell new and used cars, repair vehicles, and supply parts.The group has held the Hyundai and Mazda franchises for over 30 years, so are well established within the industry.
