In 2006 my wife and I moved to Devon and I started working for a local estate agents and was quickly promoted to Area Manager and then to Partner of a four branch franchise of Countrywide plc, the UK’s largest estate agency group. In 2012, after enduring the worst of the recession and seeing how the internet was changing estate agency, I set up my own agency. I couldn’t do it alone, so naturally my wife, Penny joined me. She uses her expert customer service skills from years in retail with Boots Plc to keep the lettings department moving and making sure all our landlords and tenants are happy. We started life as a ‘local online agent’ with very low fees but I was soon stunned to hear from many customers that I should put my fees up! So I asked my customers they wanted from their estate agent? In every case they want expertise, good service, value for money and results. We have carefully evolved the a business from a cheap, online service to a very high quality, personal service with particular expertise in coastal & lifestyle property. We work very closely with our customers to look after their needs and get the results that allow them to move on with their life plans quickly & with a spring in their step. Once customers experience how we work for them they come back time and time again, referring friends and family as well.
