The practice is housed in a bespoke timber building on the edge of a small woodland in the secluded grounds of a nineteenth century cottage. It offers a tranquil sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Gill Bescoby began her career in nursing developing an interest in acupuncture and alternative health management when her youngest son developed asthma. Amazed by the results acupuncture achieved, she embarked on a BSc (Hons) degree in acupuncture at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Mai Healing is the culmination of a dream that allows Gill to pass this incredible healing therapy onto others. Gill received her Licentiate in Acupuncture (Lic Ac) from The London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine after completing a 3 year BSc (hons) degree course (validated by the University of Portsmouth).
