The agency was founded in 1992 by Rodney Magowan - former chief reporter FarmWeek, UTV ‘Farming Ulster’ technical advisor, BBC Radio agricultural producer, past Chairman NI Guild of Agricultural Journalists and International Federation of Agricultural Journalists congress delegate. From a dairy and sheep farm Rodney was educated at Loughry College of Agriculture and Food Science, Newlands Park College University of Reading and the Open University. He also completed the BBC Langham radio production course in London. Rodney’s practical knowledge of the farm and food sector across the British Isles ensures your message reaches the rural community in language they know, understand and trust.
