It all started back in 2000 when Ryan was a wee boy at the tender age of 16 working as a Saturday lad for the original MK Cycles team. Fast forward to 2010 where he meets his future wife, Laura, doing what else, than taking part in a charity cycle challenge. Roll on two years and Ryan, at the age of 27 bought MK Cycles and decided to give being a business owner a go. One wedding and one child later, we decided to take a huge risk and move the business from Tonge Moor Road, where it had been for nearly 40 years, to the beautiful Belmont Village. In November 2017, Laura joins MK to realise the dream of having their own coffee and cake cafe situated alongside the cycle shop and in March 2018 the coffee shop was born. It's important for our customers to know our story and how we came to the be new MK Cycles. We are local people who love life, the outdoors and especially coffee, cake and Carrs pasties, but more importantly, we want everyone who visits us to feel welcomed.
