I've been in the Catering and Hospitality trade for over 12 years and it's been my passion since a child. I started catering at the age of 14 when I got a Saturday job at Churchill's Hotel, where I prepped plates for big functions such as weddings and events. From school I studied at Thanet college, one of the best catering colleges in England. I completed a full-time 3 year course and gained my professional chef qualifications. After college I worked for Dunkerleys seafood restaurant and hotel in Deal. I gained valuable experience from head chef Ian Dunkerley in a 2 AA rosette fine dining restaurant and I worked my way up to sous chef and run the kitchen in Mr Dunkerley's absence. I then moved on to further my career and became head chef at The Cliffe hotel in st.margarets.
