My journey into photography started back at school. During my art class I was always fascinated with how trends moved and developed over the years. To be honest back then I spent more time painting and illustrating rather than taking photos. It wasn’t until college, when I studied the meaning and history behind photography and art, that my love of the medium truly began. During university I learnt about art, animation, lighting and media. This led me to a career in the television industry. My camera was never far from my side and I found myself more and more drawn back to portraiture. So I decided to go with my heart, starting up Lorraine Claire Photography in 2012 and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve trained with award-winning companies and learnt from some of the best UK and international photographers.
