We started trading in government surplus in 1978 buying from all public sector departments in both the UK and Europe. Projects included the Ministry of Defence from whom we purchased all things, from officer quarters to field hospitals, and the Department of Trade and Industry in Victoria Street, London, where we bought large quantities of office furniture. In the early 90s, we were appointed by BZW (the former merchant banking arm of Barclays bank, now Barclays Capital) to clear all their London offices, which accommodated 4500 staff. This heralded the opening of our warehouses Bermondsey in St Thomas Street and in Druid Street. Due to the London Bridge redevelopment programme we moved to Vauxhall in the summer of 2016 for 18 months, but we are now back in the SE1 postcode, where you can find us today. Over the years, we have built a very large customer base and an exemplary reputation. We pride ourselves on thoroughness, efficiency, tight scheduling of time, anti-social working hours and of course price: we offer excellent value for money.
