Located just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of the historic and picturesque Sussex town of Rye, Little Saltcote was originally an Edwardian family home. Today the B and B is an excellent base from which to explore in and around the town. The tranquil town of Rye has attracted artists and writers including EF Benson whose Mapp and Lucia was adapted by the BBC and filmed in Rye in 2014. Guest bedrooms are fully en-suite, each with their own identity and appeal. All are equipped with modern facilities including freeview TV/DVD, free WiFi, radio/alarms and hot drinks tray. We have four comfortable rooms available for your stay, all of which are named after local towns and villages. In addition to the guest accommodation rooms, we also offer the use of our conservatory for meeting friends or simply for spending some quiet time reading or ruminating.
